In the Little League 1-2-3 Turn Drill, we challenge players to field the ball with their back turned to start the drill . Positive reinforcement is a crucial aspect of teaching and coaching in any sport, especially Little League Tee Ball. Positive reinforcement involves providing feedback that encourages and reinforces desired behaviors and actions in players. When coaches use positive reinforcement techniques, they can help players develop confidence, motivation, and a sense of accomplishment, which can all contribute to success on the field. In the Little League Tee Ball 1-2-3 Turn Drill, we start this fielding drill having the players have their back to the ball. On the "go" or "turn" command, they turn to face the ball and then catch or stop it.
